Kate Middleton Shares Health Update in Candid Video After Completing Chemotherapy
Kate Middleton, the future Queen, has shared a personal update in a new video, revealing that she has completed her chemotherapy treatment. Former BBC royal correspondent Michael Cole discussed the emotional video on GB News, where he highlighted the Duchess of Cambridge's resilience and the video’s intimate, heartwarming tone.
Cole commented on how remarkable Kate looks, despite her treatment, and praised the video for its candid portrayal of her family life. "It’s a masterstroke really, we have never seen anything like this,” he said. The video, filmed in part by Prince William, shows tender moments of the couple walking on a beach in Norfolk with their children. "Have you ever seen a family so in love, so happy together?" Cole added.
The video captures a blend of home movie authenticity and Hollywood-level production, offering a rare glimpse into the private life of the royals. Cole noted the emotional impact the video is likely to have on viewers, many of whom may be going through similar health battles.
In the video, Kate reflects on her recovery: “Doing what I can to stay cancer-free is now my focus. Although I have finished chemotherapy, my path to healing and full recovery is long, and I must continue to take each day as it comes.”
Looking ahead, Kate expressed her excitement about gradually returning to public duties. She is hopeful to attend the annual Remembrance Sunday service at the Cenotaph in Whitehall alongside the Royal Family. She is also planning her popular Christmas Carol concert at Westminster Abbey, an event that has become a beloved royal tradition.
